When it comes to listening to God, am I testing or trusting? Though we may want to deny it and choose to be impulsive rather than wait, who is really in control when you get down to it? There is freedom in surrendering ultimate control but our flesh will violently fight against our desired obedience. Even small points of obedience are great in His sight.
