Can you tell the difference when someone is using words of affirmation to get something from you versus actually affirming you for the sake of your general well-being?
Read 2 Timothy 1:2-7. Paul encourages (inspires courages) Timothy to “fan into flame the gift of God, which ”text-decoration: underline;“>is in you . . .” Have you ever had someone inspire you in this way? What was the result?
Who in your life needs to hear words of affirmation or encouragement from you specifically? Who needs to be inspired to courage?
